Koto (traditional clothing) - The koto is a traditional dress from the Afro-Surinamese women or Creoles in Suriname. The koto was developed during the slavery period in Suriname; it's special purpose was to protect the Afro-Surinamese woman against their masters’ sexual interest.
Slip (clothing) - A slip is a woman's undergarment worn beneath a dress or skirt to help it hang smoothly and to prevent chafing of the skin from coarse fabrics such as wool. Slips are also worn for warmth, and to protect fine fabrics from perspiration.
Waist (clothing) - Waist is a common term for the bodice of a dress or for a blouse or woman's shirt from the early nineteenth century through the Edwardian period.
Girly girl - Girly girl is a slang term for a girl or woman who chooses to dress and behave in a traditionally feminine style, such as wearing pink or floral dresses, blouses and skirts, wearing make-up, talking about relationships and other activities which are associated with the traditional gender role of a girl. In addition to wearing feminine clothing and cosmetics, people may sometimes stereotype someone as a "girly girl" for decorating (whether it be their room or the clothing they wear) with a lot of pink.
